Developers of the Two Rivers Mall have confirmed plans to set up an international school. Centum Investments Company has    kicked off works to build an international school in Nairobi.

Teaming up with two other organizations, the international school comes barely a month after opening doors to the Two Rivers mall which is the biggest shopping facility in the sub-Saharan Africa.

Centum Investments has combined workmanship with SABIS and Invest Bridge Capital to build SABIS International School.

The school, whose construction is underway, is primarily aimed at meeting the skyrocketing demand for high quality private schools to serve both local and foreign students. The SABIS International School is the first Nairobi based school under the umbrella of Africa Crest Education (ACE). With a general capacity that will accommodate over 2000 students, the school is projected for completion in 2018.

SABIS international School will be incorporated with state of the art and digital learning provisions. This comprises interactive whiteboards, a theatre, sports center and a semi-Olympic swimming pool. The school will also feature blocks for kindergarten with indoor and outdoor sports facilities inclusive of car tracks and mini swimming pool.

SABIS network is made up of international schools that have been in operation for over 130 years. Once commissioned, the Nairobi based SABIS International School will form an element of the SABIS Group.  SABIS has an established reputation in 20 countries globally and educates about 70,000 students. Africa Crest Educations has launched ambitious plans to build more learning facilities in Kenya, Uganda, Egypt, Morocco, Nigeria and South Africa.
